• 6253S is really an amazing bull. His sire 1743L and dam 859N
  are both black so he is a total outcross Red Angus.
• His dam, 3859S, achieved “Elite” cow status with an average ratio of 110. She is a granddaughter of 8984 who we felt was one of the best Black Angus cows we owned.
• 6253S’s numbers moved to the top of the breed in just one year of progeny recorded. He is in the top 16% of the breed for Weaning Wt, top 7% of the breed for Yearling Wt, top 21% for Milk, top 10% for Total Maternal, top 20% for REA (+0.13), and top 40% for Marbling (+0.04). He did all this while staying in the top 1/3 of the breed for birth weigh!
• He is a real meat machine who maintains condition even as a yearling breeding a large number of cows. 6253S has lots of volume and moves freely, has heavy muscle pattern and expresses natural fleshing ability that is so crucial to the bottom line these days.
• 6253S was our high selling bull at our 07 bull sale and is owned with Murray McArthur and Marg Veno from Hanna where he spends most of the year on grass.
